We have been competing in Belgium since the early days. It is a very hospitable place to go rallying and I can recommend it to anyone.
The highlight event was the 1992 Ypres 24 hours Rally in which Neil Higgins co drove in a Peugeot 205 GTI. My main memories were the sheer number of spectators lining every part of the route and losing all my lights at 100 mph. We ended up in a Maize field and after I got the lights to work it was a struggle to know where we were !
Recent events have been in the FIRC championship in Flanders with Juha Bos in a Mitsubishi Evo 9 finishing 4th.
